Establish Your Brand through Promotional Items
The kind of products that you chose to give away as a part of business promotions, say a lot about you. The very fact that you’re giving away free stuff is a good beginning, for most people, but it’s not enough to give away just anything. If you really want to establish a real brand identity, then you have to choose things that represent what’s unique and important about your company.
To begin with, it should be appropriate for the kind of business you run. If, for instance, you run a sporting goods store or a fitness center, then nothing would be more fitting than items intended for exercise and outdoor use. This list could include pedometers, beach balls, compasses, Frisbees and coolers. Purchase pieces of company equipment, stadium cushions, picnic baskets and more. Keep small items as giveaways to potential customers and give the larger ones as thank you gifts for customers you already have, or to reward loyal employees. Promotional outdoors equipment is completely in line with the focus and purpose of your business, which is to promote physical activity and wellbeing.
Another way to brand yourself is by giving out nothing but eco-friendly products. If you yourself are environmentally conscious or if you’re trying to appeal to people who are, then you’ll be making a powerful statement by making sure that even your give-away items meet environmental standards. People who get them and see that they are eco-friendly will learn to associate your company name with responsible and conscientious behavior.
Similarly, purchasing promotional products that have all been made in the USA, shows that you are patriotic and support the national economy. A certain segment of the population feels very strongly in this way, and you will recommend yourself to them by making that effort.
Remember, the products that you chose to purchase from a promotional products selling organization may help form the first impression people get of your company. If you have an attractive, memorable logo and a good quality product that manages to convey what you, as a business, are about, then you will have already done a lot to establish your brand identity.
