Crain’s publisher to be part of ‘Feagler and Friends’ roundtable

Brian Tucker, publisher and editorial director of Crain’s Cleveland Business, will be part of the roundtable discussion tonight on WVIZ-TV, Channel 25′s “Feagler and Friends.”

The show airs at 8:30 p.m. on WVIZ and will be replayed at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. It also airs on The Ohio Channel at 1:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Monday, March 22, and at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23.

The following topics are scheduled to be discussed:

  • No Midair Refueling: Continental Airlines announced this week it’s cutting meals on all but the longest flights.

  • No Jail Time for Reporter: Cuyahoga County judge Shirley Strickland Saffold withdrew her threat to jail Plain Dealer reporter Gabriel Baird for refusing to reveal a source for a story about accused serial killer Anthony Sowell.

  • Children’s Agency Criticized: A Cleveland mother is charged with abusing and neglecting her severely malnourished children. The local children’s services agency is under fire for ignoring the potential for harm and violating a court order forbidding the mother’s contact with at least one of her sons.

  • Business Hopes to Flush Tax Hike: Local business groups have teamed to oppose a new tax on storm water that is intended pay for sewers and other runoff drainage system improvements.

    In addition to Mr. Tucker, the roundtable discussion is scheduled to include local freelance journalist Greg Saber and Plain Dealer reporter Mark Puente.
