Datatrak International reports small first-quarter profit vs. year-ago loss
Datatrak International Inc. (OTC: DATA) has reported a small first-quarter profit compared to a year-earlier loss, when the provider of clinical trial software absorbed a sizable charge for severance costs.
Datatrak said its profit in the quarter totaled $9,377. In the first quarter of 2009, Datatrak lost nearly $788,000, or six cents a share, which included $634,000 in severance expenses.
