Kent State University names two new deans
Kent State University has appointed two new deans.
James Bracken, who currently is assistant director of collections, instruction and public services at Ohio State University’s libraries, will become Kent State’s new dean of university libraries on Aug. 1. He will replace retiring dean Mark Weber.
Walter Wagor will become the new dean of Kent State’s Stark campus on Aug. 1 as interim dean Ruth Capasso returns to her previous position as associate dean for academic affairs on the Stark campus. Dr. Wagor currently is dean of behavioral and applied sciences and is a professor of psychology at the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
