Oliver Valves’ transatlantic venture
Cheshire-based Oliver Valves today announced the opening of a sales office in Houston, Texas, and a contract win for a project in Africa.
Oliver Valves, based in Knutsford, has traded in the US for more than 20 years and its business in north America has grown into a multi-million dollar turnover. Its sales team in Houston will work alongside the firm’s distribution partner, Texas-based AWC.
Bob Wright, finance director of Oliver Valves, said: “This is a a major step for our business in the United States. There is massive potential for expansion and the new office and its dedicated sales team will allow us to achieve this growth.”
Oliver Valves’ US operation has clinched a contract with AMEC to supply valves for an oil exploration scheme off Angola.
