Parkgold is slump victim
Salford-based property development company Parkgold Investments has gone into administration.
Parkgold owns a development site in Whalley Range, Manchester, which has permission for three blocks of flats, two of which are partially built.
Simon Allport and Tom Jack, of Ernst & Young’s Manchester office, have been appointed joint administrators.
Mr Jack said: “Parkgold has experienced cash- flow difficulties compounded by difficult conditions in the housing market. We hope to sell the site in Whalley Range.”
