Talk Talk earnings up at £230m
Broadband firm TalkTalk said a “transformational” year for the firm had seen accelerating customer growth and a 27 per cent rise in profits.
The business – the UK’s second biggest broadband firm with 4.2 million customers – bought Tiscali’s UK business last year and made its stock market debut in March after a split from Carphone Warehouse.
A full set of results will be published in July but indicative figures showed underlying earnings were up by 27 per cent to £230m for the year to March 31.
TalkTalk said its business-to-business division – Warrington-based Opal – had seen revenues for the year rise 10.5 per cent to £327m.
