I was at Alice Springs last month, and 80% of the aircraft in storage there were CX, and I saw dozens of them. The next biggest airline there was Scoot with about 6 aircraft.

The good news is that VH-OQH is currently on its way back to Sydney, due to arrive 27th July, after being in Abu Dhabi for the past 4 months. That will now mean that Qantas will shortly have 4 x A380's operating.

With option 2 I wouldn't risk the on-time departure of MEL-SYD as well as a prompt transfer between terminals. I'd go to Sydney the afternoon before, relax overnight and have a pleasant breakfast in the QF First Lounge.

One solution is to take one of the twice-weekly QF61 BNE-HND flights that arrive at 8pm.
No music on QantaS

Music was removed from the IFE some years ago. I expect that it's largely due to lack of use. Most people have a phone and many have some music stored on it.

Apparently the menu only list of cocktails is the new normal, and has been for some months.

It would be good if your website software had another level of User, so that users with a known history could be raised to a trusted level not requiring moderation.
