"if you are stupid enough to live near an airport" The airport is extremely close to the CBD. This silly comment may be applicable for Melbourne or Brisbane, but not for Sydney. The only people who should decide are those of us who live in the surrounding area.

May 26, 2014, 03:03 PMReason I ask - the seat map on the Etihad site it showing the premium economy cabin for the VA operated flight, and I was able to select a premium economy seat (11D). Otherwise I'd have assumed it was a normal economy seat.
